Easy Striped Crochet Baby Blanket

I wanted to make a baby blanket for a gift and I couldn't find something that I liked so I improvised. I thought it turned out really well so I thought I'd share it. Below the pattern is a video I made to sort of give some hints. Maybe next time, I'll record the entire process. Of course, if I had done that with this blanket, I'm not sure it would have ever got uploaded to Youtube! This one seemed to take forever! Anyway, enjoy the pattern!

ETA: I put the pattern on Ravelry in case anyone is interested. I would love to see what others are doing with it. :) Here's a link to the page.

  1. Hi Claudie! I have a question- I'm assuming colors A & B are different, but it looks like there are only 2 different colors in your blanket here. Am I mistaken?
I love your pattern and blanket- btw!
    Thanks,
    Danette

    1. Hey, Danette! Color A is a soft sage and Color B is pale green so they are different colors, but similar so they might not be showing up that distinctly on your screen. If you watch the video below the pattern, I do a closeup of the yarn at around 20 seconds in and a little further in I show the skeins of yarn themselves. I hope that helps! :)

P.S. I'm really glad you like it!

  3. Hi. I love your patterns. I just finished your chevron blanket for my niece and am doing this one for my nephew but the 80 chains look too small. Would 120 chains work or would I have to to 160?
