Today is the first day of the Single Skein Situation 2014! You probably have no clue what I'm talking about (check out the video below to see where I announced it on Youtube). Basically, I buy single skeins of yarn way too often and have way too many. Too many to the point that I have no room for them. With all of that, this challenge was born. My goal is to use up as many of those single skeins as I can over the next few weeks.
I was just going to do this as a personal challenge, but then I thought that others might have the same issue I do with buying just one skein of something with no real purpose in mind so I created a group over on Ravelry. I invite you to click on this link and join up.
If you happen to need another incentive than just shrinking your stash a little, there will be a prize. Yep, a prize! I'm going to randomly draw for a paid for pattern on Ravelry. It has to be giftable and all that, but you can pick any pattern as long as it's not more than $10. That's pretty much any pattern on the site!
You can find all of the rules and whatnot in the prize thread (up at the top) and I encourage you to come on over and join in! Hope to see you over there!
